Your PD&S Agent, Inc. (PD&S) was founded in Evansville, Indiana in 1983. PD&S operates an immediate response delivery and expedite shipping service at the Evansville Regional Airport. With the use of both employees and independent contractors, and parnters, PD&S is able to provide service across the continental United States as well as Canada.
Its airport location makes the Company’s access to freight delivered into Evansville by air very cost efficient for a driver who would otherwise drive a half-hour to the airport to pick it up through the airport distribution channels. The airport location also provides a large loading dock as well as ample storage space.
PD&S has been the local agent for DB Schenker since 1997. DB Schenker is a $25 billion supply chain solutions and transportation solutions company offering multi-modal logistics management for business-to-business shippers through a global network of nearly 2000 locations in 130 countries. PD&S is proud to handle DB Schenker's local pickups and deliveries as well as perform its line haul services between Evansville and Nashville.
Starting in 2011, PD&S became the local agent for Forward Air. Forward Air is a leading provider of time-definate surface transportation and related logistics services to the North American air freight and expedited LTL market.
PD&S customers cannot risk having unscheduled production downtime and therefore utilize the special delivery options available through PD&S including GPS tracking. Through its GPS tracking system, PD&S is able to provide the status and location of a shipment at any time. PD&S serves customers in many industries including but not limited to: coal and copper mines, power plants, refineries, petro-chemical plants, manufacturing, heavy equipment, telecommunications, airlines, transportation and medical equipment.
What began in 1983 with a handful of trucks has grown into the Evansville region’s most sought after delivery service.
